Back in 1995, Angel Castro opened Conversion System with a simple observation: most auto repair shops were guessing at problems instead of actually diagnosing them. He'd spent years working at dealerships and independent garages around Santa Clara, watching mechanics throw parts at cars and hope something fixed the issue. Angel knew there was a better way. He invested in diagnostic technology that could pinpoint exactly what was wrong with a vehicle before anyone picked up a wrench.

That approach turned out to matter to people. Word spread through Santa Clara that there was a shop on our block where they actually figured out what was wrong before telling you what it would cost. Angel built the business on that foundation: accurate diagnosis first, then honest repair. No upselling services you don't need. No "while we're in there" surprises.

Thirty years later, we're still in the same neighborhood, still serving many of the same families. Some of our customers have been coming here since we opened. We've worked on their kids' first cars, their work trucks, their weekend projects. Angel still comes in every day, and the diagnostic equipment has gotten better, but the approach hasn't changed.
